And here’s my Very Vintage creation:
This card has more layers and embellishments than I typically do for these Stamp Simply Challenges, but I couldn’t control myself. To me vintage has to do with more, rather than less, so I just ran with it! My vintage image is a from a Journal Note Pad (Little Dolls). I adhered it to a piece of white cardstock to give it more stability so I could distress the edges. It is layered onto a Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossed background sheet. My Swiss Dots have been finished off with my favorite Perfect Pearls application (just skim over the embossed portion and edges with Perfect Medium or VersaMark and brush on Perfect Pearls in Pearl color and wipe off excess with Swiffer cloth).
My sentiment is from Just a Note by JustRite, cut and matted with my Petite Circles Nesties. The lace is my new Crochet Lace, available in 6 colors, topped with 100% Silk Ribbon. I did NOT use the Bow Easy on this one. I just wrapped the ribbon around the card front and tied my bow (and you can tell, the Bow Easy bows are so much nicer!) The buttons are Basic Grey.
The following items are available in The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store:
Little Dolls Journal Notes by Crafty Secrets, Just a Note by JustRite Stampers, Perfect Pearls (Metallics), VersaFine Onyx Black Ink, Buttons, Petite Circle Nestabilities, Crochet Lace, 100% Silk Ribbon (both in pink).
