Breast Cancer Alterable and a Winner!

I have a gorgeous project to direct you to today, done by Holly McMillen — truly a labor of love for a dear friend battling breast cancer.

But first let’s announce the winner of this past Saturday’s Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style  Hop.  Holly’s blog was chosen as the blog from which to select the winner, and comment #31 was the winner selected by the random number generator, and #31 from Holly’s Blog is

 ELENA!

Congrats to you Elena!  Please contact me at [email protected] with your address to claim your prize sampling of lace and ribbon that can be seen here.

Thanks to all who played along with us last Saturday as we featured projects adorned with LACE.  Please join us this coming Saturday for another fun Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style Hop.

Now look at this quick overview of Holly’s project:

WOW!  Talk about gorgeous and a true labor of love.  I’m directing you to Holly’s Blog for more page by page photos and complete details.  These are the products she used on her project:

Kaisercraft English Rose 6×6 pad – individually or in KIT form complete with ribbon, flowers, gems

JustRite Be Strong Clear Set (Crafting for a Cause)

JustRite Just Because Mini Sentiments, Mini Sentiment Stamper

Verve Plain Janes Psalm 46:10 (all scripture stamps can be seen here)

Spellbinders Labels Ten - currently on sale

Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

Prima Fairytale Roses

Melissa Frances Pearls

May Arts 7/8″ Crochet Lace

1″ Vintage Lace with Velvet Center

1/2″ Wrinkled Ribbon

3D Foam Squares

Scor Tape

Holly used a chipboard book from her stash.  Many MDF Alterables by Kaisercraft are in stock that would serve the same purpose.

The newest MDF Alterable added are the Pennants, 5 pieces included, each piece being 5″ x 6.25″.  These can be all strung together with ribbon or cord to make a traditional hanging pennant banner, they can be connected together with rings to make a book, OR how about using just ONE pennant with ribbon run through the holes to create a hanger to make a single wall hanging or door knob hanger.  For those of you who like projects that are a bit quicker — that would do it (and count me in that category)!!!
