I’ve had these beautiful turquoise colored Primas and tassel trim on my work table for a couple weeks.  The color has just been calling my name, so tonight I made a card to add to my stash — a general purpose Thinking of  You card.

Bo Bunny’s Gabrielle has that same turquoise type color in it so I knew what pad I wanted to use.

I made this card a tad over standard size — 5.75″ x 4.5″ so it fits perfectly into an A2 Clear Box.  The Clear Boxes actually fit the envelopes that go with the standard sized cards and are great for card sets that include envelopes.  However, when I make a card with bulk I like to use the Clear Boxes for the cards individually.  And in that case I like to make the cards to fit the boxes exactly.  Thus the reason for my somewhat odd sizes at times.

Prima Tassel Trim – Green/Blue

Prima Millinery Collection flower – Bud

May Arts 5/8″ Crochet Lace – Ivory

Bow made on the Original Bow Easy

Spellbinders M-Bossabilities embossing folder – Enchanted

I LOVE the new M-Bossabilities embossing folders by Spellbinders.  You get 2 designs per folder — genius!  It just depends on which way you fold it — so easy.  They also come in 2 sizes.  Although I used a smaller folder on this project I am SO happy to have the larger folders available for other projects!

You can see all M-Bossabilities in stock here.

I did use a Perfect Pearls Pigment Powder Kit on my embossed panel to give it some shimmer and shine.  It looks very nice in real life, but the photo doesn’t do it justice.

Sentiment from With Sympathy by JustRite - a clear stamp set that has become a FAV of mine

VersaFine Onyx Black Ink

Spellbinders Fancy Tags One

Kaisercraft Pearls

Maybe this sheet was a bit busy for a card inside, but I liked it and I think one can still write over it — maybe for a more casual situation rather than a serious one.

And before I move on, I just want to say there is some ribbon that is such a GREAT match to this pad (Gabrielle) that I just wanted to point it out:

May Arts Silky Crushed Ribbon in Teal (04),  Rose (20) and Champagne (02) - fabulous matches to Gabrielle.

Prima flowers that compliment this paper beautifully are the Angelica Roses in  Dreamy and Jewel.

Card sample with Rose ribbon here. Here’s a card sample with Teal ribbon, but it’s a different pad.

All items available from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store as linked above.

Here’s a little peek at what Deb has in store for you today.

PLEASE check out Deb’s Post — she did a little walk down memory lane showcasing some of her favorite springtime cards used LaBlanche stamps.  I know you’ll find some beautiful inspiration there!  The LaBlanche stamps are wonderful to work with — highly detailed images with beautifully elegant designs.

Thanks much for stopping in today — as always, I do so appreciate it!

We are enjoying weather with temps WAY over and above what is normal for us — it’s been in the 80’s which is truly unheard of for us this time of year.  But I’ll take it over snowstorms any day!!!

Have a wonderful week and I’ll be back on Saturday, if not before!
