12 Days of a CAS Christmas #7 – Ornament by Deb Saaranen

This evening Deb has an easy to replicate card to share with us, with the focal image being a Christmas ornament she created featuring designer paper and ringlet trim.

LOVE this ornament!  And as pretty as it looks on Deb’s card, I can also see this ornament being made up to use as a gift tag or even as an actual tree ornament.   What a great little gift that would be! I think we all have situations where it’s nice to give just a little something handmade, and an ornament such as this with a ribbon on top to attach it to the tree would be fabulous!!!!

You can see Deb’s blog post here.

Deb used:

Stamps: Heritage Christmas Ornaments, a large clear stamp by JustRite

Paper: Graphic 45 Twelve Days of Christmas – 8×8 and 6×6

Ribbon: May Arts 1/4″ Ringlet Trim – Ivory

Miscellaneous:  Kaisercraft Rhinestones – Lippy Red; Scor Tape; Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue; Thermoweb 3D Foam Squares

Heritage Christmas Ornaments

This is the stamp set Deb used today, and she did hand cut her ornament as she is still waiting for her shipment of stamp room supplies to arrive.  The ornament she used does coordinate with this die set:

The above stamp set also coordinates with the following die sets:

Spellbinders 2010 Heirloom Ornaments, 2012 Heirloom Ornaments

Every time I see this ribbon I think of Barb Schram.  She loves this trim and uses it often.

Below are a few things that Barb, Deb and I have done with this trim over the years.  I just did a search for this trim, and these items popped up.  Some are many years old, but still fun to look at.  Once I had them pulled up, I thought you might enjoy seeing them as well.

These item are all for the holiday seasons — fun stuff!

I will give you links to the original post for each project but PLEASE NOTE that many of these projects/posts are as many as 5 years old, so the links may not work, there may be dead links, products may be discontinued, etc.  I’m just providing links in case you want to get a better look with larger photos, more details, etc.
