Day 5/Heidi Blankenship – The 12 Days of a Clean & Simple Christmas
Welcome to Day 5 of our Clean and Simple projects for the upcoming Christmas season. Heidi’s project for today is, on appearance, warm, cozy and evokes those nostalgic feelings of home. In reality, Heidi said it took her about 5 minutes to make this card. WOW! The secret is to use paper that does it all for you. Heidi chose a sheet with that gorgeous tree, backed it with a wonderful foiled sheet, used a sentiment included in the pad, and then she added just a couple classy embellishments. Yes, I think you guessed it – Kaisercraft paper. They NEVER let me down. Amazing pads. Take a look:

There are a few left over Christmas pads from last year and they are all reduced!
As always, all Kaisercraft paper pads include many “fancy” sheets that are either foiled, flocked, embossed, etc., as well as 4 pages of punch out tags, sentiments and borders at the back of the each pad.

Each velvet type is available in a wide assortment of colors.
Velvet is a sure way to warm up any project instantly. It’s a fabulous choice for holiday creations during the fall and winter.
Row 1: 3/8′ Metallic Velvet; Velvet Zig Zag; 3/8″ Velvet (Heidi used this today in burgundy)
Row 2: 1″ Crochet Lace w/Velvet Center; 3/4″ Velvet; 1.5″ Crochet Lace w/Velvet Center
Row 3: 1/2″ Satin Edge Velvet; 1.5″ Sheer with Velvet Dots; 1/8″ Velvet
Not shown in photo: 3/8″ Velvet w/Gold Dots
These are available in 11 colors. They can be used as is, or easily snipped apart to use individually.
They all feel like suede, except the silver and gold. They have a metallic finish and feel, making them just a bit stiffer than the rest.
Available individually or in a handy sampler pack of ALL colors.
And since this is the season to be making little gifts, I thought I’d bring up this photo using the purple leaves. I chose the purple leaves to match my purple candle! Just a quick, easy and fairly inexpensive gift idea.
