We are continuing our week long series of cards done in pink to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. We started on Sunday with pink cards posted each morning, so scroll back if you missed any!  Tricia’s card today is filled with smiles, and as the sentiment says, those smiles bring blessings. How true! Tricia combined a variety of products for her card today – a new stamp for the subtle background, one of her favorite stamps for the sentiment, stickers for the flowers and a variety of fun ribbon and lace. Yes, this surely does evoke a smile — take a look:

I love the fun and flirty feel of the unexpected combination of pom pom trim with the more elegant Venise lace.

Can you see the lovely, faint background Tricia created? To create this Tricia stamped the dotted background in VersaMark, clear embossed it, and then created a wash over it all using different shades of pink Distress Markers. Subtle and so pretty from a bold looking background stamp – love it!
