Tricia created a beautiful card to share with us today – pink, soft and feminine with a gorgeous rose border, textured background, a torn edge and meaningful sentiment. When I look at a card, one of my first thoughts is always “how quickly could I make this” – LOL.  With life as it is, I always like things to be quick. I’m sure many of you can relate.  This particular card brought me right back to stamping 101 — some of the first things we did as stampers a LONG time ago — we created simple (uncolored) borders and used a torn edge. Just what Tricia did today, but in a more dressed up fashion. The dry embossed base adds so much depth to the card and the pretty ribbon treatment tops it off just pefectly. Take a look:

Tricia stamped her roses onto watercolor paper with dye ink and then just pulled the color away using a damp water brush.
