Christmas Tags – Shabby or Clean? – by Sharon Johnson
I have two types of Christmas tags to share today. Two are distinctly vintage/shabby and two are more streamlined and clean. And I’m really curious — which style do YOU typically prefer. If you can take a minute and let me know by commenting, I’d really appreciate it! Now let’s take a look at them all:
Although I enjoy both styles, I must say the vintage/shabby tags just truly speak to my heart.
I created these tags for one of our Make-N-Take Mini Classes, so they are very easy to put together.
So I’ll start with the vintage/shabby pair:
These go together quickly once your supplies are gathered.
Here’s the supply list:
Stamp: Merry Christmas by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps
Paper: Shipping Tags, Recycled Hymnal Pages, Cream Cardstock
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Fired Brick, Bundled Sage, Tea Dye
Ribbon: May Arts 2.5″ Sheer Frayed Flowers – Pink, Ivory

May Arts 2″ Woven Canvas Music Notes

And here I was going for a cleaner version of vintage – not sure if I achieved that, but I do like these!

Love the pretty tags! Thanks for sharing.
All of the tags are great, you don’t do anything badly. I LOVE the plainer style because it is clean and simple yet, it holds just the right amount of interest. When things I look at get too busy for me my brain shuts down {though most of the time it is in that mode everyday}, lol. TFS and caring about my opinion.
I like both styles of tags. I make both styles but probably like vintage the most. It depends on the person that I am making the tags for or the gift that I am giving.
