Watercolor Blues – by Deb Saaranen
Once again Deb is working with her Distress Oxide Inks and beautiful verses from Scripture. She created this beautiful trio of cards today in gorgeous watery blues. Take a look:
Layers of crisp white really set off these watery blues.
Deb smooshed the Distress Oxide Ink onto her craft mat, spritzed with water, then pulled that watery ink to paint her background with a brush for all 3 of today’s cards.
This card uses colored cardstock for the base and mat layer, coordinating with the ink colors.
Minimal sparkly embellishments are the perfect accent.
To create the cross hatching Deb used a nearly dry brush, loaded with a minimal amount of ink.
Crisp black sentiments on all cards make the Scripture verses POP.
And here’s the trio of beautiful cards.
Wonderful to keep on hand for yourself or to package together as a gift.
