I like general autumn themes. In the Maritimes, fall is absolutely fantastic. Clear crisp clean air, blue skies and colored leaves what more can one ask for. Happy Blog Anniversary.

I would love to try one of the Kitchen Sink Stamps! Most of the autumn cards I made are general autumn cards — those vibrant fall colors are so inspiring!

  3. Wendalynon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:08 am

I like to make the fall colors as in oranges and reds. But I make cards for Thanksgiving also. Love those fall colors.. What a great blog candy also.

  4. Michelleon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:13 am

Then most autumn themed cards I make are RAKs. I try to make at least 5 RAKs a month and stick to a theme each month.

I make a LOT of Thanksgiving cards each year. It gives me a chance to let my family know what I am thankful for this year and to reconnect with some friends that I have lost touch with. Thanks for opportunity to try the Kitchen Sink stamps.

  6. Paulaon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:21 am

I think fall is my favorite card making season. I make general cards. Not so much the Thanksgiving or Halloween cards. I would love to try some of these stamps. I love this time of year… it’s my favorite!

  7. Carrie Finnon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:23 am

I make more cards for General Autumn than the other two. Our church celebrates a Harvest Festival in October, and I make the invitations. There’s always so much great fall paper to choose from!

  8. Gigion 05 Sep 2008 at 8:24 am

Since my grandchildren are still small enough to enjoy treats, I make more Halloween followed by Thanksgiving ones given to family and treasured friends.

  9. stephanie muzzulinon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:24 am

I love to making Thanksgiving cards. It’s a perfect time to show people how much they are appreciated.

  10. Martie Mon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:28 am

Love the colors of autumn BUT has to be mostly Halloween cards for my grandkids. Thanks for chance at the Blog Candy. Haven’t used these stamps yet but on my way to check out the site.

  11. Nancyon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:29 am

I make the most Halloween cards by far! And little bags/boxes of goodies to hand out. But last year I made Thanksgiving cards for a friend. Very tedious because I hand cut out each leaf (12 to a card). Fall is my very favorite time of the year so I love all of it. The kitchen sink stamps look wonderful! I love the “Got Stuffing” comment for Turkey Trot! Have a wonderul weekend.

  12. Linda Gilliamon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:30 am

    I am an AUTUMN-holic! LOL!
I savor every moment of the autumn season, starting with general autumn cards, then Halloween is a fav at our house (grandkids love it)
I love making beautiful Thanksgiving cards for friends and family also, along with placecards for the Thanksgiving table!
Thank you for the opportunity for the lovely stamp sets!

  13. Lauraon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:35 am

Wow this is awesome, Sharon. I make more general Autumn cards, but my favorite are Thanksgiving cause I love thanksgiving - it’s my favorite holiday. Thanks for the Blog candy offer. Have a wonderful day and Happy Blogiversary.

  14. Val Passon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:38 am

Thanks for the chance to win. I send Halloween cards to my 5 grandchildren, but I prefer to make general autum cards for Thanksgiving.

  15. Yvetteon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:40 am

Why Halloween of course. So many great designs and stamps to choose from. They can be silly to serious and scary depending on your mood when you stamp.

  16. Barbara S.on 05 Sep 2008 at 8:40 am

I don’t have any Kitchen Sink stamps but would love to have a set. I have visited the Kitchen Sink website recently and saw several sets I would like to try. So this set would be fun to win. I am making many more holiday cards now that there are so many fun fall stamp sets. Since I have grandchildren, I make more Halloween cards. They’re just so fun to make.

  17. Nancyon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:41 am

What beautiful blog candy! I just love 2 step stamping. I guess I make more Halloween cards this time of year. Thanks for the opportunity to win one of these lovely sets.

  18. Gabriela Divineon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:42 am

Tough question because I thought I made equal numbers on Halloween, Thanksgiving and general Autumn cards. Hmmmm… your question has certainly provoked some serious thought…..still thinking….okay, I pick general Autumn. Your blog candy selection is divine, dah-ling, simply divine.

  19. Jerri Kayon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:45 am

Woo Hoo! I’m in! Totally lovin’ that squirrel set. My son’s at Vanderbilt and the school has something going on about squirrels. I’m definitely a Thanksgiving card maker, always do lots of those, hmm, a squirrel with his acorns, I can do it!

  20. Trish Don 05 Sep 2008 at 8:50 am

Ooh, both of those sets are fabulous! I make the most general autumn cards, but do make a few Thanksgiving cards to send to close friends and family

  21. Julieon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:52 am

Wow, they are both great sets. I make the Thanksgiving cards the most, and I have a cute one in store for this year. Thanks for the chance to win! ~Julie

  27. Danielleon 05 Sep 2008 at 9:11 am

Ooh, I love these stamps! I probably stamps more for Halloween than just fall or Thanksgiving…maybe because there are more kids I kike to give cards to for Halloween!

  28. Barb (GrandmaUpNorth)on 05 Sep 2008 at 9:11 am

I would guess I make Halloween and Thanksgiving cards the most. My grandkids are young enough to love Halloween, and I have a large family that I send Thanksgiving cards to. And I love the Kitchen Sink Stamps and what Dee did with them! Thanks for the chance to win some!

  29. Connie Gregoireon 05 Sep 2008 at 9:12 am

I have never tried Kitchen Sink but would love to!! I find I make the most Thanksgiving cards. It is a great time to tell your loved ones and friends how grateful you are for them! Thanks for the chance.

  30. mary puskaron 05 Sep 2008 at 9:14 am

I’d have to say Halloween with fall cards a close second. I do love things with leaves. But Halloween cards I could make all year I love it so much.

I’m always a little sad when Autumn arrives, as I love Summer, but all the changing colours is so beautiful. I think I make more Halloween cards than anything else. I love Halloween…so neat to see all the little kids dressed up in their costumes.

  32. Carolon 05 Sep 2008 at 9:16 am

what a wonderful giveaway! I don’t own any KS stamps yet, but I would love to try them!! I seem to make more Autumn cards for the most part, but I do occasionally make Halloween and Thanksgiving cards for family members. Thanks for the opportunity to win a fabulous stamp set!

    This is so fun!!!

  36. Kelly Lon 05 Sep 2008 at 9:26 am

I would really enjoy winning one of these sets! :) I love two-step stamping, and I love to create autumn cards. I don’ t usually send a lot of Halloween or Thanksgiving cards but with that turkey stamp — I think I just might! :) Kel

  37. Nancyon 05 Sep 2008 at 9:27 am

General Autumn for me. Thanks for the chance to win.

  39. Leslee (MamaH02)on 05 Sep 2008 at 9:36 am

What an exciting week you have planned!
I love doing general autumn cards. Colors are so vibrant and really can be adapted easily for either Halloween or Thanksgiving (and it saves space in the stamp closet for more stuff!)

  40. Melanieon 05 Sep 2008 at 9:44 am

Maria is awesome! I tend to make mostly general fall cards — Canadians don’t really send cards for Thanksgiving in October, and I never was much for Hallowe’en even as a kid. But fall cards are so pretty and vibrant!!

  41. ~Lana B~on 05 Sep 2008 at 9:45 am

Definitely just general Fall themed cards are what I usually make…but MOSTLY because I don’t have a really rockin Thanksgiving set in my collection…YET! ;) Thanks for the chance to both you AND Maria!!!
    ~Lana B~

  43. Pat (mspfd)on 05 Sep 2008 at 9:49 am

Oh my, how wonderful it would be to win! I probably make more Thanksgiving cards now that the younger set in our family is grown. Have a fabulous weekend!

  44. Druon 05 Sep 2008 at 9:57 am

Fall is my favorite time of the year so I make a lot of cards and tags relating to the whole season - fall in general, Thanksgiving, and Halloween - maybe a little more Halloween, because I have more of those stamps. I am currently shopping for more Fall stamps, and these sets look wonderful.

  45. Laura Huffmanon 05 Sep 2008 at 9:58 am

wow, cool sets. it would be hard to choose between the two.
i like making Hallowe’en cards, and decorations. kids still love Hallowe’en, so do I.
    thanks for sharing.

  46. Besseyon 05 Sep 2008 at 10:12 am

  47. Darlene Lon 05 Sep 2008 at 10:12 am

I love to do Thanksgiving cards, because I actually send them out. I love the colors of fall and you can use those colors for all 3 categories. I really for some reason only 1 or 2 Halloween stamps. Thanks Kitchen Sink and Sharon for the blog candy offerings. I think the turkey done in 3 steps will look fantastic on my mantle!

    Darlene

  48. Vickilynon 05 Sep 2008 at 10:13 am

I would say general autumn cards are what I do most! I think the Halloween cards are the most fun, and I always want to do Thanksgiving cards, but never seem to!

Thanks for the inspiration Sharon!! And congrats on your one year!

  49. Joanon 05 Sep 2008 at 10:14 am

I usually make more Halloween cards than others for this time of year.

Congrats on your one year anniversary.

  50. Sharon in NEon 05 Sep 2008 at 10:18 am

General autumn. It gives me a wider span of time to get the cards made and mailed.

  51. buzzyon 05 Sep 2008 at 10:25 am

What an amazing give a way! That squirrel set looks so fun! About the only cards I make with a fall theme are general autumn in nature. They seem to work for every occasion I need.

  52. Debbie (DeborahLynneS)on 05 Sep 2008 at 10:29 am

Hey Sharon– I like general Fall cards best! Thanks for the opportunity to win goodies! Thanks to Maria as well!

  55. Jody Mon 05 Sep 2008 at 10:44 am

Fall is my favorite time of year, so I make all the types of cards; general autuumn cards, thanksgiving cards, but tons of Halloween cards! Love both of these sets! Thanks to Kitchen Sink and you for the chance to win some blog candy.

  56. Karenon 05 Sep 2008 at 10:45 am

Congratulations on your year of blogging!

I like General Fall because I LOVE Fall and all the beautiful colors, and I know cooler weather is on its way.

  58. Anne Ron 05 Sep 2008 at 10:53 am

I don’t generally make Halloween or Thanskgiving cards, but a do have a few male members of the family with their birthdays in Oct/Nov so I love to do a general fall-like card for them. PS This is the first time ever I have left a comment. I’ve been looking at a few sites for a while now and have finally gotten the courage to reply. Love your site!

  59. Marcie S.on 05 Sep 2008 at 10:56 am

I think this year I’ll make mostly Thanksgiving cards. I have a large family and like to make a card and little treat for whoever is hosting our big crew this year…and that of course means I have to make one for everyone else too! :)

  60. Barbon 05 Sep 2008 at 10:59 am

  62. Nancy Andersonon 05 Sep 2008 at 11:09 am

Hi, I love both of those sets! I make many more Thanksgiving cards than general or Halloween. We used to do a huge family Thanksgiving but with our families growing and moving in different directions, I send out cards to those that I don’t get to actually see. I have never used the Kitchen sink stamp sets but love 2 and 3 step stamps, and would love to win these. Nancy Anderson

General Autumn for me. (Including Thanksgiving!)

  65. Virginia Johnsonon 05 Sep 2008 at 11:13 am

WOW! Those stamps ARE absolutely gorgeous and I’ve admired your cards made with them from the very first one. I love the detail that the third step adds to the images! I’m a Stampin’ Up! demo, so do create a lot of general autumn cards - birthday, thank yous and of course Halloween cards for family and customers.

Thanks for the opportunity to win one of these beautiful sets! :O)

    Virginia

  66. LeAnneon 05 Sep 2008 at 11:18 am

I make a lot of fall cards that are generic. I have only made Thanksgiving cards a few times, but I think they are a nice way to stay in touch with family that you don’t see at that time of the year. I LOVE to make Halloween cards, the colors & images are just fun!
Thanks Maria & Sharon for the opportunity to win a set! I love my Kitchen Sink stamps!
    LeAnne

  67. Judyon 05 Sep 2008 at 11:19 am

  68. Denise ~ Paper Ponderingson 05 Sep 2008 at 11:49 am

General Autumn…I love the fall trees so those are definitely the design I tend to turn to.

  69. One4Joyon 05 Sep 2008 at 11:55 am

I have to say Autumn…love the colors and the ‘feel’ of fall! I would be thrilled to have either set of the Kitchen Sink stamps…so many wonderful examples in the galleries of these beauties! Thanks so much for the chance to win

  70. Jessicaon 05 Sep 2008 at 11:55 am

I would have to say that I send more Halloween cards than anything. Thanks for the chance to win some great stamps!!

  71. kim/ohradiogirlon 05 Sep 2008 at 11:57 am

I have not made a great deal of Halloween cards. I do, however, have some fall leaf stamps from Martha Stewart that I want to use. So count me in for Autumn. Thanks for all of the blog candy.

  72. Katieon 05 Sep 2008 at 12:02 pm

I never make Halloween cards unless it’s for a Swap. I’m usually too busy planning my Thanksgiving feast and making Christmas cards to stamp anything for Thanksgiving but I LOVE making general Fall cards.

  73. Nadineon 05 Sep 2008 at 12:08 pm

Changes of seasons always make me want to get creative. These stamps are lovely and helpful. My chice would be the fall theme because there is more time for seasonal cards to be given to family and friends.

  74. Dana Grothauson 05 Sep 2008 at 12:12 pm

I make a lot of autumn theme cards. I generally gravitate to the earthy tones anyway. I think those hues make great masculine cards. The Peaceful Wishes set from SU make great autumn cards using the pineneedles and pinecone.

  75. 2stampis2bon 05 Sep 2008 at 12:13 pm

I love autumn! I probably make more general autumn cards, but I do make Halloween and Thanksgiving cards too. Actually, I probably make more autumn birthday cards than anything as we have SEVERAL autumn birthdays in our family!

  76. Leslieon 05 Sep 2008 at 12:19 pm

Hi, I would love a chance to try the 3 step stamps. I’ve never used them before.

  77. Barb T (scs btexpress)on 05 Sep 2008 at 12:23 pm

Sharon, what great blog candy. I don’t own anything from Kitchen Sink stamps, so it would be great to win. I make fall/autumn birthday cards
and some halloween and thanksgiving cards during this fabulous time of the year. It is by far my favorite, especially living in the northeast. Barb

  78. Beccaon 05 Sep 2008 at 12:24 pm

I do love fall, but it seems that when I sit down I end up making more Halloween cards…I don’t know why because I like the idea of fall a whole lot better!

I think these three step stamps are genius!!

  79. Deb Neermanon 05 Sep 2008 at 12:26 pm

I make a ton of Halloween cards, a ton and a half of Fall calls, and a couple of hand fulls of T-day cards.

Love the stamps! And thanks so much for the chance to win ‘em!

    ~Hugs, Deb

  80. Dizzy Broadon 05 Sep 2008 at 12:32 pm

My favorite is hands-down Halloween! Even before having children, I’ve always made Halloween cards and 2 kids later, I now have many more excuses to make more Halloween-related crafts! LOVE those new 3-step stamps! Thanks for the opportunity!

  81. Cindy H.on 05 Sep 2008 at 12:34 pm

Ooooh, great stamps! I’ve not tried the 3 step Kitchen Sink Stamps but have always wanted to :) I think I probably send out more Halloween cards than Thanksgiving. Thanks to you and Kitchen Sink for giving us an opportunity to win one of these great sets!

Thanks for the chance to win - I love the look of 2 & 3 step stamping but just don’t have the sets to do it. I’d love to try some of the Kitchen Sink Sets sometime.
My main theme would be general autumn.

  84. Donnaon 05 Sep 2008 at 12:48 pm

I make the most Thanksgiving cards. It’s the one time of year when I think we ALL give thanks for our blessings. It feels good to make these cards and I love the fall earth tone colors!

  85. Shannonon 05 Sep 2008 at 12:53 pm

  86. Toni Storieon 05 Sep 2008 at 12:54 pm

I would have to say that I make the “general autumn” cards most. I love the look of Halloween and Thanksgiving cards, but I just don’t use them :( I love leaves and the fun colors that you can use to create them. I am really excited about 3 step stamps. I have only used 2 step stamps and just love them! Thank you and Kitchen Sink stamps for the offering!

  87. Emilyon 05 Sep 2008 at 12:55 pm

I don’t think I’ve ever made a Halloween or Thanksgiving card, so I guess the answer would be general fall cards =). Thanks for the chance to win!

  88. Carol Millayon 05 Sep 2008 at 1:02 pm

I would say I do mainly a general Autumn theme - fall cards and a few Thanksgiving.

I would say that I usually make more Halloween cards. Thanks for the opportunity to win some awesome blog candy!

  91. Paula Kayon 05 Sep 2008 at 1:12 pm

For me it is Thanksgiving. Now if my granddaughter wants my help then we sit and do 35 Halloween projects for her class at school. So….I guess I would end up stamping for for Halloween than my won thanksgiving cards. Thanks for the wonderful opportunity to win stamps.

  92. Phyllis Zarton 05 Sep 2008 at 1:15 pm

Congrats on your 1 year anniversary!! Your blog is one of my very favorites to check out. Most of my autumn cards are generic fall cards as it is my favorite season of the year; but beween Halloween or Thanksgiving, it is Thanksgiving for sure. Thanks for all your wonderful inspiration.

I make Fall and Thanksgiving cards to send to friends and family. Our stamping group at Church makes cards also for those times of the year too.

  102. Kerry Jon 05 Sep 2008 at 1:48 pm

Definitely more Thanksgiving cards than anything else - sometimes hard since Thanksgiving is much earlier here in Canada. Thanks for the chance to win!

  103. Kimberly Rairdanon 05 Sep 2008 at 2:00 pm

For me, Autumn is my favorite time of the year. I make cards for most of the holidays, but I really post more Thanksgiving cards. Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate family & all that we are greatful for.
    God’s Blessings to you.

  104. Diane O.on 05 Sep 2008 at 2:03 pm

  105. Cheryl Simson 05 Sep 2008 at 2:03 pm

I am not a Halloween lover but do adore autumn with Thanksgiving being my favorite holiday of the year. I have admired the squirrel stamp set and would love a chance to have it.
    Congratulations on your anniversary. Awesome.

Congratulations! I love your blog and visit it daily for wonderful inspiration. I love autumn but live in Florida now, so I love making fall-colored cards. I make mostly Thanksgiving cards. I’d love that squirrel set…I feed a couple of local squirrels, and I think they think I’m their mom! They are so cute…they come up to the window when my husband is sitting near it, and it looks like they are talking! Thanks!

  107. Pam C.on 05 Sep 2008 at 2:13 pm

I do Autumn in general. It sometimes gets a bit hectic around Thanksgiving, but I usually try to send out some friendship or thank you cards to those that have been especially helpful or friends that have been especially near and dear. This past year with my sons illness, I will need to send a lot of cards out. The Autumn Squirrel set would be nice.

Thank for a chance to win and have a great day.

  108. Casieon 05 Sep 2008 at 2:14 pm

I usually do Thanksgiving cards and send them out to family. But I think I might make a few Halloween ones this year just for the kids!

  109. Kerry from PAon 05 Sep 2008 at 2:37 pm

Oh my, I just adore that squirrel. We feed the squirrel and chipmunks in our backyard so I would love to win that set. It’s very close but I would say I do more Thanksgiving cards but general autumn cards are a very close second. I’m really not that into Halloween cards.

  110. Leahon 05 Sep 2008 at 2:42 pm

I love these stamps and I love Autumn! I would probably say I make more Halloween cards for Fall than any other kind. However, I really want to make more general cards for the season for versatility. I hope I win! TFS! :)

  111. Susan Gon 05 Sep 2008 at 3:04 pm

I make more Thanksgiving cards than any other this time of year. The squirrel set looks very interesting. I’d like to have it to play with. Thanks for a chance to win it.

  112. Glenda Jon 05 Sep 2008 at 3:17 pm

I love making Halloween cards for my grandchildren because they are so fun. I make Thanksgiving cards too but have a harder time coming up with something creative. thanks for the wonderful cards and things you share with us!!!

Happy Anniversary, Sharon! Your blog is absolutely fabulous, so keep it up.

I love to make general autumn cards. They’re usually good to give anytime in September/October/November. You know what I mean?

Have a terrific weekend - Regina

  118. Tandra Boyeron 05 Sep 2008 at 4:06 pm

I make more halloween cards! I love Thanksgiving, but I have more FUN making whimsical Halloween projects!!!

  119. Shellyon 05 Sep 2008 at 4:13 pm

I love making autumn cards but rarely make one for a specific holiday. I prefer to make cards that can be used through the season. Love both those sets and have had my eye on them for some time!

  120. Carol Bon 05 Sep 2008 at 4:17 pm

Although I prefer Thanksgiving cards, I probably make more Halloween cards. Rarely do I make general autumn cards, unless I am stuck trying to make a birthday card, then I’ll pull an autumn theme into it.
Thanks for the opportunity. Love the turkey bird stamps!

  121. Jill F.on 05 Sep 2008 at 4:21 pm

  123. Caition 05 Sep 2008 at 4:35 pm

I love to make Autumn themed cards! My favorite to make are Halloween because there’s so much out there to use and they’re so much fun to make! I love these 3-step sets!!

  124. Nancy T.on 05 Sep 2008 at 4:39 pm

Oh…..pick me please!!!! I must say that I generally don’t do Halloween cards however I love doing autumn type cards. I love, love, love watercolouring these type cards - just seems to be the best time of year to do it. Not sure why, but hey - just my opinion.

  125. Carla (cmsuto)on 05 Sep 2008 at 4:55 pm

Wow, Sharon! What great blog candy! I mostly make Thanksgiving cards in the fall, but I do make a few general Autumn themed cards for fall birthdays! Thanks for the chance to win!

  126. Nerdette-Stephanieon 05 Sep 2008 at 4:59 pm

As per my LONG wish list, I prefer the Autumn stamps the most. All the cards I have seen in them are gorgeous, maybe it’s the colour scheme I am drawn to. I however, don’t at the time own any. I have a few Halloween stamps grabbed from Michael’s dollar-fifty bin but that was more for my kids.

Thanksgiving isn’t a big deal in my house, maybe that’s why I’ve never considered buying them. Loving your white on white cards Sharon, so classy.

  127. Sueon 05 Sep 2008 at 5:02 pm

I love, love, love making general Fall cards……….so I love leaves, acorns and fall stamps in general…….That squirrel is a real cutie! Should add that to my list to purchase unless I’m lucky enough to win! Thanks ladies for your generous, generous offer.

  128. Sue M.on 05 Sep 2008 at 5:16 pm

I make the most cards and gift items for Halloween. I just love the cute Halloween stamps - witches, Frankenstein, ghosts - they are just so much fun to play with. I also have a neice away at college and I usually send her little Halloween treat bags for her and her friends.

  129. Linda V.on 05 Sep 2008 at 5:33 pm

I just LOVE Halloween and always look forward to all the newest images. They’re such fun. It’s fun to make treat bags and use stamps to embellish.

  130. Becky Con 05 Sep 2008 at 5:45 pm

General fall cards, definitely. I think Halloween and Thanksgiving ones are cute, but I never get around to sending them! Thanks for the chance!

  131. Lois (clownmom)on 05 Sep 2008 at 5:51 pm

Because I make them to distribute at my mom’s assisted living facility, the most fall cards I make are Halloween ones. At any one time there are between 80 and 90 residents in the facility — so I usually send about 100 so some of the staff can get some too.

  132. Kathy Bon 05 Sep 2008 at 5:58 pm

Halloween…I’m a big kid at heart! Thanks for the chance to win!

  133. Sharonon 05 Sep 2008 at 5:59 pm

I think the general autumn gets more use from me than specific Halloween or Thanksgiving cards. I Love the squirrel!!

  134. Marshaon 05 Sep 2008 at 6:13 pm

I LOVE Autumn. It is my favorite time of year. And the Fall colors are my favorite colors so I make the most cards during this time of year - usually just Autumn cards I do make some Thanksgiving cards and then end up not sending them out. Maybe this year !?

  135. Bethon 05 Sep 2008 at 6:28 pm

I tend to make more Autumn cards than Halloween or Thanksgiving cards since my family has several men with fall birthdays. It is perfect due to the masculine nature of many of the autumn colors. :-)

  136. kimberleeon 05 Sep 2008 at 6:40 pm

I’m always so grateful to so many people, that I LOVE Thanksgiving, so I make Thank you cards! I love to celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving all through the year…and especially enjoy the dinner too! MMmmm! ;)

  145. Aliceon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:11 pm

I love to make Halloween cards! I don’t know why, since we don’t really celebrate it, except to hand out candy at the door. I just like to send a card before the holiday rush to let people know we are thinking of them. Halloween is a good time of year to do that!

  146. Linda won 05 Sep 2008 at 8:13 pm

I usually just make general autumn cards. This will also cover those fall birthdays that come up. Thanks for the chance to win.

  147. Sue Don 05 Sep 2008 at 8:27 pm

I guess personally I make General Autumn cards but our church stamping group gets requests for both Autumn and Thanksgiving cards. I guess I need to get busy! I really like Kitchen Sink Stamps so it would be great to win a set.

  149. Marian Balsamoon 05 Sep 2008 at 8:38 pm

I make the most Halloween cards, just love the bright colors and clever sayings available for Halloween. I must admit, I do like the Thanksgiving set shown above.

  150. Elaineon 05 Sep 2008 at 9:06 pm

I make the most stamped items for Halloween however they are not necessarily cards. I make more CARDS for Thanksgiving than Halloween…. :)

Beautiful stamps. I don’t have any Kitchen Sink stamps yet. I hope these will be added to my collection soon!

  151. Karenon 05 Sep 2008 at 9:19 pm

These stamps are very cool! I’ve never made halloween cards, mostly because I don’t have halloween stamps. I really like making Thanksgiving cards.

  156. Stephanie Hargison 05 Sep 2008 at 10:16 pm

Well, I would say that I usually focus more on Thanksgiving cards but with all the new releases lately I have been using a lot more Halloween stamps! :D

In answer to your question, my fav autumn card making occasion is definately, HANDS DOWN Haloween!!! I think that there is just so many fun & snazzy directions to go with halloween cards.
Anyways thanks again for the chance to win.

  162. Giovanaon 05 Sep 2008 at 10:51 pm

My favorite Auttum theme is Thanksgiving, even though I am not American and in my country we don not celebrate this Holiday, I love Thanksgiving!!! I always make cards for my dear husband’s relatives and closest friends.
Thanks so much for your generosity Sharon.
    God bless
    Giovana

  163. Nancy C.on 05 Sep 2008 at 10:56 pm

My favorite fall card to make is definitely Halloween!! My granddaughters love to get involved, especially making ones with witches and ghosts!! Since I’m relatively new to card making I had not seen these stamps before - they look very interesting! Thanks for the opportunity!

  164. Charlene H.on 05 Sep 2008 at 10:59 pm

I think I make more autumn cards - not really related to any specific holiday, just the color themes mostly. I don’t have anyone that I would give a Halloween or Thanksgiving card to so I generally stick to fall colors for my birthday or thank you cards. I would love the try the three step stamping - it looks fun!

  165. Linda C.on 05 Sep 2008 at 11:02 pm

    I make more Thanksgiving cards.

  166. Dawn Eastonon 05 Sep 2008 at 11:09 pm

Oh wow, those are both fabulous sets!!! I’ve been eyeing the Kitchen Sink Stamps for a while now. What a nice treat it would be to win one!
You know I am not sure which of those I like to make cards for most….lol
Halloween is fun and just recently got into make cards for it. Thanksgiving is soooooo early here in Canada(early Oct) and fall…well where I live we have a SHORT fall…winter is usually here around Halloween….haha!

  167. Teresa Caseon 05 Sep 2008 at 11:20 pm

I love fall! So general fall stamps would have to be my answer then Thanksgiving. I have the rose set of Kitchen Sink Stamps I love the way they stamp so nice.

  168. Janet Siskon 05 Sep 2008 at 11:28 pm

I love both of these sets! The squirrel is so cool, but so is the turkey. I would LOVE to win either set. Thanks for the chance!

  169. Curt OBrienon 05 Sep 2008 at 11:35 pm

Hey Sharon! Thanks for the chance to win! I’ve always wanted to try these stamps, so maybe I’ll get a chance! I make a ton of Halloween and Fall cards. This time of year is my most favorite! Best, Curt

  170. Sherion 05 Sep 2008 at 11:45 pm

I am new to stamping, but I am very much looking forward to making Halloween cards this year. The 2 step stamping technique is some I would love to try.

  171. Karen (the zuf/SCS)on 05 Sep 2008 at 11:55 pm

Love 2 step stampin’! I don’t make Halloween cards as of yet, maybe someday. For now, I make just autumn themed cards because they can cover all the bases for the next few months (b-day, Anniv., Thanksgiving etc.). Congrats on your 1 year!!! Thanks for the chance to win! :)

  172. Jil Lon 06 Sep 2008 at 12:12 am

Those stamps are really cute! I mostly make cards for Halloween. I have an obsession with bats, so I have to make many halloween cards to justify buying more bat items! LOL! JIL

  173. Graceon 06 Sep 2008 at 12:31 am

General Autumn is my favorite kind of card to make! Sets are both adorable.

  174. Kellyon 06 Sep 2008 at 12:33 am

The sets are just lovely! I tend to make more Thanksgiving related cards, mostly because the recipients (family mostly) understand why they are getting them but this year I have thought of more fall related cards in general. We all love Fall and everything it stands for - why not celebrate early, before Thanksgiving gets here! Thanks for the oppty to share :)

  175. Lisaon 06 Sep 2008 at 12:35 am

I love to create Thanksgiving themed cards, gifts, and table settings…would love that Turkey set; but the squirrel reminds me of our outdoor squirrel who has become somewhat of a pet…he carried my baby’s blankie to the top of the tree to nest with…the blankie sat in the tree all winter and now it’s getting more use with this Fall air!

  176. FRancescaon 06 Sep 2008 at 12:39 am

My cards are mostly Halloween ones, We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Italy!!

  177. Jessica in Kansason 06 Sep 2008 at 12:40 am

I tend to make more general autumn-themed cards than those for Thanksgiving or Halloween. I found that when I did make Halloween or Thanksgiving cards, I forgot to give them out!! General autumn cards make beautiful b-day cards, which is what I tend to use them for most!! Thanks, in advance, for all of the fun in the days ahead!!! Jessica in Kansas

  178. Debbieon 06 Sep 2008 at 1:22 am

Halloween, Halloween, Halloween…did I say Halloween….lol. Thanks for giving us a chance to win such wonderful blog candy and congrats.

  179. Cherylon 06 Sep 2008 at 1:23 am

I tend to make autumn-themed cards which can be used for Thanksgiving if I don’t come up with a specific card for the day, or just to have for thank you’s. I love autumn, which is probably why my first markers, card stock, and stamp pads from Stampin’ Up! were all from the Earth Elements color family!

  180. Elaine M.on 06 Sep 2008 at 1:38 am

I’d have to say that I make the most of General Autumn cards - the colors are so great this time of year; it’s easy to be inspired. Thx for the opportunity to own the 3-Step Autumn Squirrel

  181. Emiliaon 06 Sep 2008 at 3:11 am

I make general Autumn cards. Actually, I have just started making autumn cards because I saw beautiful cards on many blogs. I love Kitchen Sink Stamps and I have a few of their sets… not the Autumn Squirrel and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  182. SueBon 06 Sep 2008 at 5:31 am

Happy Blogoversary! This is a tough one to answer as I love making cards for all 3 reasons, but I’m betting it’s Halloween as it’s one of my fav holidays! Don’t you just love the Kitchen Sink stamp sets?! Thanx for the inspiration and chance at t’riffic blog candy!

  183. Kittieon 06 Sep 2008 at 6:27 am

Sharon, Thanks for the opportunity to win one of these sets. I have never used the two or three step sets (I have but only SU) and think these are intriguing. I make more general autumn cards than anything else. I basically only make Halloween for DT work as it really isn’t my thing.

  184. Judy Walshon 06 Sep 2008 at 6:29 am

I probably make more Halloween cards. That’s only because I have more Halloween stamps, so I would love to win either set to expand my choices! Thanks for the chance.

  185. Julianaon 06 Sep 2008 at 6:43 am

I just LOVE to make fall themed cards. Basically because I STINK at getting cards out on time!! (birthdays, Halloween, Thanksgiving etc)

I love fall and the colors that it brings out!! Thanks for this opportunity. I have always wanted some KS stamps–but the budget just isn’t giving.

  186. Kayon 06 Sep 2008 at 6:47 am

This is positively wonderful…all this Candy!! I would have to say Fall is my all time favorite…but with grandchildren on the way…Halloween may take it over..LOL thank you so much for this opportunity.

  187. Karen from Ontarioon 06 Sep 2008 at 7:15 am

I feel like Autumn is already arriving in Ontario, Canada. Some of the trees are losing their leaves and it is cool in the morning. I think I would enjoy creating some cards for Thanksgiving which is coming soon in Canada. Thanks for the chance to win.

  188. Dorison 06 Sep 2008 at 7:21 am

I would LOVE to have an autumn set, especially with a squirrel. We once took in a “needy” squirrel and named him Chipper. He refused to leave us, so we kept him in a large indoor cage and played with him every day, indoors and out–what a privilege!

  189. Ginny Hon 06 Sep 2008 at 7:21 am

I love fall so these stamps would fit the bill for fall card making. Thanks for sharing.

I have always loved all things fall. I send lots of Halloween cards because they just make me and those I send them to smile. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday . . . so sad it’s forgotten, lost between the hype about Halloween and Christmas.

Wow! These sets are awesome! I love all the fabulous detail! Like most of your readers, I make mostly “general” autumn cards. I just love all things fall…from the warm colors, to the rich foods, to the crisp temperatures! It’s just the perfect time of year!

  208. Laura N.on 06 Sep 2008 at 10:18 am

I make halloween cards for all the kids in the family. I don’t find thanksgiving cards as useful, but I am thinking about making placecards instead this year!

  209. Carlaon 06 Sep 2008 at 10:21 am

I usually make general Autumn cards and you can always put a quick Thanksgiving sentiment on it if you want! Happy Anniversary!
    Carla D.

  210. Lauren Y.on 06 Sep 2008 at 10:23 am

    Wow, beautiful images1
I do general Fall cards the most, then followed by Halloween cards.

  211. Jean Rowellon 06 Sep 2008 at 10:30 am

I like to do Halloween treat toppers for my friends, family, and co workers so I’m pretty busy around this time making all sorts of goodies. For Thanksgiving, I will be stamping out menu cards for the celebration at my Aunt’s house this year ! then goodie bags as well for all those left over items.

  212. Shirleyon 06 Sep 2008 at 10:31 am

I do more fall cards than Halloween or Thanksgiving. I just find more uses for the fall cards. You can use them for sympathy, birthdays or for a simple hello.

  213. Krenon 06 Sep 2008 at 10:34 am

As much as I love making general autumn cards, I am beginning to make Thanksgiving themed cards now. A two-step turkey! Nifty! kren

  214. Jenny Groppon 06 Sep 2008 at 10:34 am

    OK — here goes…
    please, please, please PICK ME!
Love these sets… have been spending time at Kitchen Sink…looking, wanting, drooling….

  215. Wreathaon 06 Sep 2008 at 10:35 am

I like the 3 step turkey set. It would be great to win it so I could make cards for my Church card ministry.

  216. Sharon Won 06 Sep 2008 at 10:50 am

Cute staps sets!! Love to win one-Sharon W

  217. Stacyon 06 Sep 2008 at 10:59 am

I love both of these sets. So different from anything else I have. In the past, I have mostly made general fall themed cards as thank you notes and birthday cards; however, this year, I am planning to make Halloween cards for all the kids in my children’s classes. I’m hoping to get started soon. I also am working to set up a card ministry at my church and want to get some great fall themed cards for all of the fall birthdays and anniversaries. Love your blog and hope to celebrate many, many more anniversaries with you!

  218. KATon 06 Sep 2008 at 11:01 am

I love to make fall cards/projects because the colors of fall are my favorite. Probably I make mostly general fall cards but I also make Halloween cards to send to people - it’s unexpected and a great excuse to get more fall images!!!

The squirrel is to die for!!!

  219. Selmaon 06 Sep 2008 at 11:18 am

I make a lot of cards for all these catagories. I really like the details in these sets. Both sets would make beautiful cards but I really love that squirrel. Thanks for giving us a chance to win.

  220. Terri Beckmanon 06 Sep 2008 at 11:22 am

I make many Thanksgiving cards because it is a wonderful time to give thanks for family and friends. I would love to try Kitchen Sink stamps. I’ve been keeping my eye on the 3 step squirrel for about 3 weeks. He is so cute!
Thanks for offering such great Blog Candy.

  221. Kerry Aon 06 Sep 2008 at 11:27 am

I tend to make more Thanksgiving cards. It is a time of year for me where I like to let those I love know how thankful I am for them. Thanks for the chance to win some great stamps!

  222. Dawnon 06 Sep 2008 at 11:50 am

Wow! This would be so exciting to win. I’ve always wanted to try the Kitchen Sink stamps. Lovin’ that turkey!

  223. annabelleon 06 Sep 2008 at 11:53 am

I never done autumn cards since where I live (Dominican Republic) is summer all year long. But, love to win the 3 steps squirrels since I ust love them.

  224. Lisa (lakind)on 06 Sep 2008 at 12:10 pm

I mostly make Halloween because I like to send them to families with kids mostly. But I LOVE fall. I have to make more of those general cards and send them out! Thanksgiving is also very dear to me…I love that holiday and all the food! Thanks!

    Lisa

  225. Carolenon 06 Sep 2008 at 12:33 pm

Yes, thank you Maria and than you Sharon. Had never heard of
this line of stamps! LOVE these! Wouldn’t want to have to
choose between the two but crossing my fingers and toes that
    I have to!
Thanksgiving! Hands down. Now, I wish that it were autumn, but
the truth is, I never get as many cards made as I’d like to.

I love Hallowwen and Thanksgiving but generally make Fall cards as they are more versatile. Love the squirrel set and your blog. Cindy O’Connor

  228. LadyDocon 06 Sep 2008 at 12:53 pm

Definitely Thanksgiving cards rather than Halloween cards around here.

Thanks to you and Kitchen Sink for the great blog candy!

  229. Cathy Libouson 06 Sep 2008 at 12:54 pm

I like the Turkey Trot one as there’s lots of ideas that you could get out of that one!!!

    Thanks for having Blog Candy!!!

    Cathy =)

  230. Angela Knopf (Inky Button)on 06 Sep 2008 at 12:56 pm

I must say that I love making Halloween cards, but I rarely send them out. Isn’t that crazy? I love all the fun fall colors and pumpkins are especially my favorite.

    Thanks!

  231. jojoton 06 Sep 2008 at 12:58 pm

I definitely make moreThanksgiving cards. I am a leaf/tree person, so that is probably the motivator behind that…..lol

Sharon…at this anniversary time, I really must take the time to thank you for all the things you do for you fellow stampers. From Dirty Girl to blogger, to challenges, and encouraging us to stamp simply…..you are a great influence and example for many of us. I personally thank you for taking time on several occasions to help me out with questions I have had.

    You rock, gf!

  232. Sherri Alspachon 06 Sep 2008 at 12:58 pm

I would have to say– General Fall (although I would love for it to be halloween) I always make cards to go with the “goodie” bags for the kids school fall party— they won’t let us completely use the Halloween theme
    Sherri

  233. Charleneon 06 Sep 2008 at 1:04 pm

I love fall and cute Halloween…not the scarey or ugly and I love KS stamps…budget just hasn’t allowed it! Thanks for participating in the Blogaversry.

  234. Amy Johnsonon 06 Sep 2008 at 1:06 pm

I make general autumn cards the most. Most of my friends are born-again Christians and they are very sensitive to ‘halloween’ images, so avoid witches, and scary cards. I send out fall cards in October, because thanksgiving is just too close to xmas. My images are always very fall-like (pumpkins, leaves, etc.)

  235. Lindaon 06 Sep 2008 at 1:06 pm

Although I would love a 3 step fall set of stamps, I definitely make more Halloween cards than any other fall themes. There are so many options and I love the color combos, purple, green, black, orange. The holiday also gives me a reason to send cards to family and friends.

  236. Michelleon 06 Sep 2008 at 1:10 pm

I like General Autumn themes. The colors are fabulous. Its a great time of the year!

  237. Charmaineon 06 Sep 2008 at 1:13 pm

I think I do most in general autumn themes…I love autumn colors and leaves so I tend to use that a lot during that time of year.

Cuss, cuss, cuss. Must remember to make sacrifices to computer gods, so they’ll stop eating my posts.

    2nd try at comment posting:

I mostly do Halloween stamping/cardmaking. Though I do love just general Autumn cards and adore the Thanksgiving holiday.

Have to say: I love the squirrel stamp set; it’s to die for (well, NOT really!) We feed the squirrels (and bluejay, cardinals, palm warblers, mourning doves) at work. Just gotta love the squirrel-y dudes.

  239. Wendy (songbirdwc)on 06 Sep 2008 at 1:20 pm

I definitely prefer general autumn — by Thanksgiving I am too busy cooking to send cards :-) But autumn cards can be used for any theme, and my Christian conscience keeps me far from Halloween imagery. What lovely 2-3 step images! I would love them!

  240. Debbyon 06 Sep 2008 at 1:21 pm

What awesome blog candy! I do more Autumn stamping as I love the fall of the year. I also love animals and that squirrel is adorable but then so is the turkey. The colors of the fall is the most beautiful time of the year.

  241. Chrison 06 Sep 2008 at 1:24 pm

My favorite time of the year is the fall. I love Thanksgiving and the opportunity to give thanks to the important people both near and far away. I create new cards for our card ministry at church to send to all of our shut-ins throughout the year but especially at Thanksgiving.

That squirrel is so very cute.

  242. Ashleyon 06 Sep 2008 at 1:42 pm

I make more general fall cards.

  243. Denise Mon 06 Sep 2008 at 1:45 pm

I have yet to try the 3 step stamping. Autumn is a favorite and I miss that season. I am in FL transplanted from WI. I do send some Halloween cards and send out many Thanksgiving cards. Thank you for offering the sets and such wonderful ideas.

  245. Julie (Joypup on SCS)on 06 Sep 2008 at 1:56 pm

Thanksgiving sets are my FAVORITE. I have so much to be thankful for ;^)* I guess I still think that the turkey should be our National Bird!
    Thanks for the chance!

  246. stampin janon 06 Sep 2008 at 2:12 pm

Many of my family members have fall birthdays, so a broad selection of autumn stamps really helps to add variety to these annual birthday cards…they definitely get the biggest workout.
There are no little people left in our family to truly appreciate those lovely Hallowe’en theme cards although they are fun to make. Fortunately I am still scrapbooking photos from my children’s younger days, so Hallowe’en stamps still get some use as I decorate those pages from their past.

  247. dr.fineon 06 Sep 2008 at 2:17 pm

  254. MarilynYon 06 Sep 2008 at 3:27 pm

I go crazy making Halloween cards. It’s such a fun wacky season that allows ‘no holds’ on how these cards will turn out. It’s the one time of the year when all of us “adults” can act as weird, crazy and funky as the kids. Halloween is the answer!!

  255. nancy littrellon 06 Sep 2008 at 3:43 pm

Definately Autumn/Thanksgiving cards. Fall colors and nature are my favorite themes. Probably because I have a Sept. birthday and the colors are best for my skin tone. Happy fall my friend and thanks for another chance to win a gorgeous stamp set.

  256. Mary Bon 06 Sep 2008 at 3:48 pm

What wonderful blog candy! I make lots of general autumn cards - both for my mom and myself. The rich fall colors of maple trees are just gorgeous. The Autumn Squirrel is on my wish list for my next order - such a gorgeous set!

How true! How true! Both 3-step sets are Fabulous! My choice would narrowly be the Turkey set because of the “So much to be Thankful for” saying. I strive each day to find things I’m thankful for and try to encourage others to have ‘thankful for lists’. I’m thankful you told us about the Kitchen Sink 3 step sets!

I make more cards for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving has always been a big gathering for our family in the past. As the years go by the numbers get smaller and smaller. By sending out cards for Thanksgiving to the numerous relatives who can’t “get together”, it rekindles old pleasant memories for me.

  315. Donnaon 07 Sep 2008 at 7:27 am

Definitely more Thanksgiving cards- I’m not into Halloween that much. BUT…now that i have a granddaughter, that may change!!!! Thanks, Sharon, for the chance to win (even though I know I will not win…) Hugs!

  316. Michelle Hon 07 Sep 2008 at 7:31 am

I love the look you get from 2 step stamping so I can only imagine what 3 step will look like! I would love a chance to win one of these gorgeous sets too! When I make cards to celebrate this time of year I make them for Fall! I love the colors, the crispness in the air, the pulling out of a new wardrobe (he he he!) just love it all! I love the little squirrel in the first set too! We used to have a couple that would run along the fence line first thing in the morning! The day just had to start watching those little guys racing! Thanks again for the chance!

  317. Chrison 07 Sep 2008 at 7:34 am

I would have to say Halloween!

  318. Joyce Spearon 07 Sep 2008 at 7:39 am

Hands down, I *make* the most Halloween cards. Oddly enough, I *send* more general autumn cards. (The Halloween ones are just too cute to part with!)

I’m new to Kitchen Sink Stamps and three step stamping, but the squirrel set has me intrigued!

  319. Janet Rohdeon 07 Sep 2008 at 8:12 am

I would use the Thanksiving set the most. I always send out invitations for our family dinner and decorate the table.

  320. Cheryl B.on 07 Sep 2008 at 8:21 am

I usually just make Halloween cards–that is if I get a chance to make any cards in the fall at all.

I love the squirrel set. It reminds me of my dad who passed away 5 years ago. He used to feed the squirrels in his yard and even had one that would sit on his knee.

  321. Connie Watsonon 07 Sep 2008 at 8:28 am

Since I live in Florida now…not the good ole’ U.P., I make more Thanksgiving cards. My family always got together at Thanksgiving. Now I’m not there in person so I send a card!!

  322. Linda F.on 07 Sep 2008 at 8:40 am

Oh, I would love to win those autumn leaves so I’ll keep my fingers crossed!!! I love the cool crisp air and beautiful colors that fall has to offer us.

  323. Laurie Hineson 07 Sep 2008 at 8:43 am

I generally make alot of Autumn cards simply because I love the earth tones the best! Anytime I am in a creative rut, I generally can look at my earth elements collection and come up with something! Thanks for the chance to win!

  324. Monicaon 07 Sep 2008 at 9:03 am

What awesome candy! I love these sets…it’ll be hard to choose if I win! I make more Halloween cards than Thanksgiving or general fall. I’ve got a lot of really cute Halloween stamps!

  328. Kellyon 07 Sep 2008 at 9:27 am

General fall cards would be what I make the most of…the colors of the season are my very favorite. Kitchen Sink’s 3-step stamps are absolutely beautiful…they make such beautiful, simply stamped images!

  329. Caroleon 07 Sep 2008 at 9:30 am

This is a great blog candy. Thank you for giving us a chance to win!

  330. NotGonnaGetHookedon 07 Sep 2008 at 9:36 am

Oh I tend to stick with general Autumn, that way I can often make a quick alteration to use it for any occasion, even Thanksgiving or Halloween.

  331. Nancy Parkon 07 Sep 2008 at 9:40 am

I love Autumn, but since I live in Florida I have to enjoy it through my stamps.

  332. Mary Ferrison 07 Sep 2008 at 9:57 am

Much as I love all the Halloween stamp sets I have, I don’t find myself making many cards with them - I’m more likely to use them in srapbooking. However I love to use my autumn sets - the fall colors are my favorites and I can use them in any kind of card: birthday, sympathy, thank-you, etc. Our leaves are just starting to change here so I’m inspired to pull out my rust, mustard, red and yellow inks & papers.

Thanks for the chance to win one of these sets! Mary

  333. Jayneon 07 Sep 2008 at 10:01 am

I would tend to use an autumn theme stamp set — never have been a real Halloween lover. The autumn theme could be used for Thanksgiving projects as well as scrapbooking.

  334. Elenorah Aon 07 Sep 2008 at 10:11 am

I have a large family so I make pretty much equal amounts of Halloween and either Autumn or Thanksgiving cards. I am the proud mother of twelve (12) children, yes you did read that right there are 12 of them six boys and six girls. They have blessed me so far with twenty two (22) grandchildren, the last two born just last month. So for all my adult children and friends I make either an Autumn or Thanksgiving card (and this is determined by the stamp sets that come out which one grabs my attention, I really like all of them heehee). Then for all my grandchildren and some of my friends children or grandchildren I make them Halloween cards. These are a lot of fun as I try and do something either animated or different then just the standard card. Thanks for doing the blog candy, it so much fun reading everyones input and the anticipation of finding out who the lucky winner is going to be.
    Elenorah A.

  335. Vickyon 07 Sep 2008 at 10:30 am

Well the Thanksgiving cards used far outweigh any others but Halloween is so popular now and with all the great stamp sets and papers out there it no my number 1! thanks for the chance to win!
    Vicky

  336. Natashaon 07 Sep 2008 at 10:36 am

I would say I make Autumn-themed cards the most. If an anniversary or birthday happens to fall between Sept-Nov. I tend to go with leaves, or red, brown, and golden tones.

Halloween cards are fun too, but I’m only just starting to build a collection of stamps in that area.

  337. Teresaon 07 Sep 2008 at 10:38 am

I tend to make more Autumn cards than specific Halloween or Thanksgiving cards. The Autumn cards can be used for Thanksgiving by just changing the greeting, so I feel they are more versatile. Thanks for the chance to win the Blog Candy! I love both of these sets.

  338. Vickieon 07 Sep 2008 at 10:44 am

I think autumn is the most awesome season of the year with all the sights sounds and smells merging together to make a collage to tickle the senses. I sometimes start out making a card and it changes as my senses take over and the memories of childhood guide my hands.

    Vickie

  339. Dee Youngon 07 Sep 2008 at 10:50 am

Gosh, this is a tough one because I love autumn and make all 3 types of cards, but overall I think that Thanksgiving really would win. We host Thanksgiving and I make the place cards and little treat boxes or bags at each place setting. I’m on my way to checking out these stamps - they look awesome!

Thanks again for all you do - the world truly appreciates you!

  342. Louon 07 Sep 2008 at 11:20 am

I like to make autumn cards because I just love those colors. Leaving the insides blank I will usually turn them into Thanksgiving ,get well or fall birthday cards as I need them. Would love to win one of those three step stamp sets as they look like so much fun!

  343. Denise Rileyon 07 Sep 2008 at 11:39 am

I would say that I make the most of general fall themed cards. I love the fall colors and the beautiful leaves that make wonderful cards.

  344. Bonnie aka raduseon 07 Sep 2008 at 11:43 am

I make the most general fall cards since I’m not really into Halloween and Thanksgiving is limited. BTW: that squirrel is too cute.

  345. Joan E.on 07 Sep 2008 at 12:04 pm

Although I love Halloween and Thanksgiving celebrations, I probably send more general theme autumn cards. Thanks for the great give away.

  346. kathyon 07 Sep 2008 at 12:06 pm

I’d have to say I send autumn cards because I love the colors and the feel you get from a card done in those warm autumn colors. A few years ago, I’d say Halloween cards because of my 5 grandchildren but they’re now teen-agers and aren’t as ‘open’ to Grandma’s silly cards…….boo-hoo.

  347. Shirley Leeon 07 Sep 2008 at 12:21 pm

I love to send out autumn cards because I love the color combinations that one can make. I’d rather send out Thanksgiving cards than Halloween cards because of the colors I use on the cards. Thanks again for your generosity.

Thanks for all the creative inspiration!!!

  351. Kim Muhlon 07 Sep 2008 at 12:38 pm

I tend to make more general autumn cards. I think the elegance of the fall colors and the images of fall work well for many different things, and they’re just more fun to work with.

  352. Terion 07 Sep 2008 at 12:38 pm

I’m not much of a double image stamper, but these sets are so wonderful I think I would try really hard! The turkey is awesome. What wonderful cards they make.

Thanksgiving is the time I make more cards for family and friends. It’s a time to appreciate all those special people in your life, and what better way than with a handmade card that shows you took the time to do something creative and special just for them.

  356. Tinaon 07 Sep 2008 at 1:59 pm

I make general Fall cards the most with Halloween cards a close second. I don’t really have any particular reason for either but I just enjoy doing them and send them as RAKs. I’ve never seen any of the Kitchen Sink stamp sets until now but I’d love to win the Squirrel one.

  359. Susan Con 07 Sep 2008 at 2:15 pm

  365. Linda Crowderon 07 Sep 2008 at 2:35 pm

Hey I make card for all three, but I love the general autumn cards and it is my favorite season. It represents the change back to school, the coming of 3 wonderful stamping holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Plus, they are the most versatile ones. And I love leaves. I even dry leaves all year from various trees and plants to use in my Fall cards. I lived in E.Tx most of my life and there was an abundance of Fall foliage to choose leaves to dry for my cards. There is just no end to the versatility of Fall colors, either.

  366. Pat Bursonon 07 Sep 2008 at 3:08 pm

I love making general autumn cards. I live in Arizona so don’t get to see the leaves changing like I used to see when I lived in Utah as a kid. Making cards with all the pretty leaves and stamps helps me to keep in touch with autumn and it’s fabulous colors!

  367. Chris R. from Iowaon 07 Sep 2008 at 3:09 pm

General autumn cards. I love the leaf shapes and colors. The squirrel is really cute but I like the “Got stuffing!” on the other set. I don’t think I have done the 3-step designs but always willing to learn. Either way, both of these are great sets!

  368. Jenniferon 07 Sep 2008 at 3:17 pm

  389. Gabbeyon 07 Sep 2008 at 7:30 pm

Most of my cards would be general autumn. I love the fall colors along with pumpkins, trees dropping their leaves and leaves in general. There there are cornstalks, corn, gourds, etc… What a magnificent time of year full of color.

  390. Sheila Don 07 Sep 2008 at 7:36 pm

I love making Halloween cards but don’t have too many people to send them to so I tend to make general autumn cards the most. The season of autumn has so many possiblities for great cards, and the colors are so beautiful. I would love the chance to try out one of those stamp sets. The gallery was awesome.

I mainly do general autumn stamping but I also do a few Thanksgiving and Halloween cards. The nice thing about autumn stamps is that you can more or less use them year-round. (leaves, corn, grasses, branches etc) Not so much with thandgiving or Halloween.

  393. Cheryl Hirzelon 07 Sep 2008 at 8:26 pm

I stamp more cards for the Thanksgiving Season. It seems that we leave out this season as stores rush us from Halloween to Christmas! (Or maybe the 4th of July to Christmas???). We need to take more time to be Thankful for the many Blessings we enjoy in our United States of America… so I do that in a small way through Thanksgiving Cards!

  401. gailon 07 Sep 2008 at 11:51 pm

I Love the Fall with all the wonderful colors and make lots of cards to welcome this time of year. 455. Judion 09 Sep 2008 at 3:17 am

I am 100% a Halloween girl - I love decorating for and making cards and helping the kids dress up and get their make up on! It is so enjoyable to see the fun and enjoyment that children get from this holiday.

In our family, Thanksgiving is more for giving thanks for what we have been blessed with and helping others who are less fortunate - to me, this is something that should be celebrated everyday, and enjoy the family part of the day being together.

Thanks for the opportunity to win a set of Kitchen Sink stamps!
